‘Can be the world’s best’ – Jurgen Klopp believes Chelsea have a phenom on their hands

Has Jurgen Klopp just hailed Eden Hazard as the best player on the planet?

Klopp ought to be familiar with Hazard’s brilliance by now, with the Belgian having scored in both of his appearances against Liverpool this season.

The 28-year-old has the opportunity to make it three out of three against the Reds tomorrow afternoon, which would be a blow to their title hopes.

Hazard is well accustomed to being decisive in the title race, though, having scored the goal to win it for Leicester City back in 2016.

That’s overlooking his contributions for Chelsea during two respective title triumphs…

Klopp will be well aware of all of this, and appears to be an admirer of Hazard’s. Speaking in his pre-match presser, he revealed his opinion that the Belgium captain is one of (if not the) best there is.

He’s quoted by FOX saying:

“Eden Hazard, on his day, can be the world’s best.”

While we utterly adore Eden, we must acknowledge that he is not at a level where he can climax Lionel Messi – not yet, anyway.

If Klopp is as much of a superfan as he seems, however, maybe he’ll be lucky enough to sign some signed Hazard merchandise tomorrow.
