Video: ‘I don’t care, we won the trophy’ – Timo Werner produces hilarious interview response after Chelsea win the Champions League

Timo Werner has just produced a priceless interview response after Chelsea won the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Manchester City.

Werner, who endured a rocky start to the game after snatching at this chance early on but ultimately rallied on until he was replaced in the 66th minute, was asked about the Blues being ‘underdogs’ for the tie.

The centre-forward was asked by beIN Sports whether City being considered heavy favourites gave the Blues ‘more determination’ to go on and win the game.

Unfortunately for the beIN interviewer, Werner immediately replied ‘I don’t understand the question’, with the star adding that he didn’t ‘care’ as the Blues had ‘won the trophy’ and that’s all that matters.

There’s been some pretty hilarious interview moments from the Chelsea stars tonight, Werner’s compatriot, Kai Havertz hit back with a savage response when his price tag was questioned.
