Chelsea have ‘made contacts’ for Italian international goalkeeper

It all seems to be going on today on the transfer rumour front, with momentum building about an alleged pursuit of Porto left back Alex Telles.

As well as this, noise seems to be building regarding Chelsea’s apparent interest in AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Reliable Italian journalist Nicolo Schira has today reported that Chelsea have made contacts with the 21-year old Italian international’s agent and are willing to pay his client 8 million euros a year to sign with them.

He also states that Milan are considering selling the top class keeper.

The general consensus is that Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is not confident with his current number one Kepa Arrizabalaga moving forward and a new keeper is top of the shopping list in the summer.

Donnarumma will have plenty of suitors though if Milan do decide to sell him, which would be quite a shock by itself.

Lets see how this one plays out..
