Chelsea fans received big news this Wednesday afternoon when it was reported that the club had verbally agreed a fee with Ajax to sign their attacking midfield talent Hakim Ziyech in the summer.
The fee suggested is 45 million euros, and the two clubs have shook hands on the deal.
Since then, English sources have agreed that this is the case and Ziyech is close to becoming a Chelsea player at the end of the season.
Personal terms are yet to be agreed, but as the reliable David Ornstein suggests below – Ziyech is expected to agree those within the coming days.

Sky Sports also agree that a deal is close to being finalised and have translated the euro fee to pounds, suggesting it will be £38 million when all is done.
They also claim that Ziyech is a top target of Blues boss Frank Lampard, who attempted to sign him last month but an offer was rejected.
