Influential Chelsea midfielder makes bold claim about Blues’ end of season run in

N’Golo Kante is refusing to give up on either the Europa League or a top four finish – instead insisting that Chelsea will be battling for both!

This is the stage of the season where all you have worked for can fast start to fall apart. We’ve seen it happen time and time again.

Liverpool are contending in the Premier League and Champions League – yet few would bet against them finishing the season trophyless.

We are in the same boat, at least somewhat. We have a great chance of winning the Europa League, but are also on the peripheral of the top four.

It could be a case of all or nothing, but N’Golo Kante does not appear prepared to see his Chelsea side finish empty handed.

During an interview with the official Chelsea website, Kante is quoted insisting that Chelsea will not sacrifice one for the other – they’re going for both:

“Winning the Europa League is one target for the club, and for us, and it is what we are going to try to do. We are three games away from winning that title, but we must first go for fourth place.”

Let’s hope that our reluctance to commit for one of the other doesn’t leave us with nothing. That would surely cost Maurizio Sarri his job.
