Maurizio Sarri has claimed that he’s not worried about Chelsea’s impending transfer ban – because he has full faith in our youngsters!
Chelsea’s transfer ban may still be suspended until January 2020, it remains a possibility, but at the the time of writing, we will not be able to register any new players this summer.
For any manager this would surely come as a great concern. Not being able to reinforce increases the possibility of stagnation or regression – but Sarri is calm.

Speaking in his press conference ahead of our clash with West Ham on Monday, Sarri revealed that the wealth of youth he has at his disposal has eased his fears ahead of a complicated summer.

Sarri could certainly be criticised for his unwillingness to use the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek frequently this term, but they ought to be encouraged by these comments.
If our win over Brighton taught our manager anything, it’s that he ought to trust them more than he has to date.
