Chelsea keeping tabs on striker who has scored 11 in 11 on-loan in Eredivisie this term

Chelsea are keeping tabs on Borussia Dortmund forward Alexander Isak, according to the Mirror.

If we’re looking for a young centre-forward capable of improving Vitesse’s chances of qualifying for Europe, Isak may well be our man.

He’s scored 11 goals in 11 Eredivisie appearances on-loan at Willem II this term, form that Dortmund must be finding difficult to ignore.

His good performances also appear to have alerted Chelsea, with the Mirror claiming that he has emerged as a potential target for the Blues.

We need a new striker, no doubt, but already have Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham impressing at Crystal Palace and Aston Villa respectively.

Recruiting Isak would bolster our offensive prospects, but could further limit the opportunities of those who are desperate for a chance to impress.

With a transfer ban currently in force, it seems unlikely that we would look to sign this profile of player when he would not be an absolute necessity.

Thankyou, the Mirror, next.
