Loading up our Twitter timeline in wake of the news of Callum Hudson-Odoi’s return to the bench was not a particularly bright idea.
The case for Hudson-Odoi to become an established starter for Chelsea has been building with every passing week.
Everytime CHO has touched the turf in a Chelsea shirt, he’s excited the fans and proven his quality. Yet, Maurizio Sarri remains uninterested.
Sarri has shown his reluctance to give Hudson-Odoi a fair opportunity. He’s starved the 18-year-old of the game-time he deserves.

We hoped that his call-up to the senior side, for whom he made two appearances over the break, could be a turning point. It wasn’t.
Hudson-Odoi has returned to the Chelsea bench today, with both Pedro AND Willian starting ahead of him in attack.
It’s safe to say that many on Twitter are utterly bemused with the decision from Sarri. He’s how some have reacted to hearing the news.
Pedro & Willian start on the wings…
Hazard & Hudson-Odoi on the bench.
*throws up a little*

Eden Hazard dropped. Still no Hudson-Odoi. Sarri is ridiculous.
