‘I would give Callum a game’ – Opposition manager believes Chelsea starlet deserves to start

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has revealed that he would start Callum Hudson-Odoi if he were in Maurizio Sarri’s shoes today.

Perhaps he’s attempting to audition for the managerial hotseat…

Hudson-Odoi’s stock is on the rise following a couple of brilliant performances for the England senior side over the international break.

However, you wouldn’t bet against him returning to the bench today.

No matter how Hudson-Odoi plays, Sarri’s thought process does not appear to change. He’s not a starter for us, and that’s just how it is.

Warnock, who will be locking horns with Sarri later today, has a very difficult outlook to his managerial counterpart.

He’s quoted by Sky Sports revealing that he WOULD start CHO:

“I would give Callum a game after his England performance.

“If Callum is playing, then I think it’s on merit. It’s an exciting time for all the kids coming through in Gareth Southgate’s [England] squad.”

“But Chelsea have such a choice, don’t they? Whoever plays in the first two positions, I’ll be quite pleased to see the other two on the bench.”

It’s heartbreaking to think that Hudson-Odoi could be forced to cut ties with Chelsea purely due to the continual ignorance of our stubborn manager.

At this point, we’d choose the youngster over any manager in the world. He has the potential to be one of the best players on the planet.
