Maurizio Sarri was forced to sit down and face the press yesterday after another stinging defeat in the Premier League.
The journos wanted answers, and he tried to give them. But as you can see in the video below, he found it pretty hard to explain. One thing he noted was that if we had been able to sustain our levels from the first half, things would have been very different.
He’s not wrong – if we were able to play like we did in the first half all season, we’d be a lot higher up in the table. But the fact is that we aren’t able to sustain those levels, and in fact it doesn’t look like we’ll ever be able to.
So if the players aren’t able to fit the system, perhaps it’s time to trying a change of system, Maurizio?
