Kevin De Bruyne has done an interesting interview with TNT Sport this week ahead of the Man City Liverpool game this weekend in the Premier League.
There was some mention of his time at Chelsea too – the Belgian admitted he may have been “impatient” in pushing to leave after not getting the playing time he wanted.
It backs up what Jose Mourinho, the manager at the time said. He rated KDB and wanted to use him, but wasn’t prepared to give him the minutes he was demanding already at that point.

KDB made the right decision (for him). His development likely would have stalled under Mourinho who has always prioritised grinding out the 1-0 result (annd throwing his player under the bus if he didn’t get it!) over giving a young player minutes.
