Chelsea’s loan star still sees his future at Stamford Bridge

It’s really bleak times as a Chelsea fan right now.

The season is crumbling to dust, on the back of a similar situation last year. Our best player  looks like he’s going to leave this summer, and we might be banned from transfers, so we won’t even be able to replace him. The manager’s future is in doubt, and in fact, the owner’s future is in debt too.

There are a few bright spots though, mainly from the loan army, and and Blues fan looking to be cheered up just has to read this recent interview with Tammy Abraham on Sky Sports to get their smile back.

Unlike a lot of other players, who gradually and tragically give up on their dreams of playing at Stamford Bridge, Tammy is clearly keen to come back and make an impact.

The striker, on loan and banging them in at Aston Villa, says returning to the Chelsea first team is “his aim going into next season”.

We really hope he’s given the chance to show what he can do. Our striker situation hasn’t been good for a long time. We could do worse than giving Tammy a try.
