(Video): Cole Palmer adds close range header to double Chelsea’s lead against Everton

Cole Palmer can’t stop scoring. Twenty minutes in, that’s his second of the night, and his seventh consecutive game at Stamford Bridge in which he’s found the net.

In contrast to his opening wondergoal, this one couldn’t have been easier to score.

Mykhailo Mudryk fed Nicolas Jackson, whose effort was parried by a desperate Jordan Pickford.

Unfortunately for the Everton stopper, he pushed the ball right to where you don’t want it right now – the general vicinity of Cole Palmer. He headed in the easiest finish he’ll have all season.

2-0 Chelsea. We’d love to say game over… but on recent evidence, this is just game on.

Go on Cole, let some of the other players have a go! You’re embarrassing them with how easy you’re making this look.
