(Image): “People like you” – Noni Madueke snaps back at fan as players back Raheem Sterling

It’s not the first time that Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has not taken too kindly to fan comments on Instagram, and he has snapped back at another one this weekend.

Chelsea beat Leicester City 4-2 on Sunday afternoon to reach the semi finals of the FA Cup, but they made it very tough for themselves and should have been 3-0 up at half time if not for a penalty miss by Raheem Sterling.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea add new Premier League full back to transfer shortlist. Also, a promising French left back has joined the same list!

The winger apologised for his miss after the game on Instagram, and the players rallied around him for support with their comments, as seen below. You can also see Madueke snap back at a fan who was assumingly abusing Sterling.

  1. I’m fine with teammates defending Sterling, but let’s be clear—it wasn’t just ONE miss! As if the penalty wasn’t bad enough, he also missed a 1v1 with the keeper and shanked a free kick from the edge of the box that wouldn’t have hit the goal even if it suddenly doubled in size! But for the assist to Palmer, Sterling really failed to meet the standard and should have left the free kicks/penalties to Palmer.
