Chelsea hierarchy have ‘universal appeal’ to target ‘heavily’ scouted player this summer

The leaders at Chelsea reportedly have a ‘universal appeal’ to target a player they have been ‘heavily’ scouting this season.

The Blues will be looking to sign a few more players in the summer transfer window that is now fast approaching, and one target for one of the positions has come to the very forefront of their shortlist.

This is according to insider Simon Phillips, who put the sourced article out on his Substack site yesterday afternoon.

The report is on left backs, with Phillips saying that Marc Cucurella is likely to be sold this summer if Chelsea can find a suitable buyer for the right fee.

So they are now looking at replacements, and one name has become a genuine option, says the report.

Chelsea are ‘heavily’ scouting left back Bradley Locko from Brest. The 21-year-old has been attracting interest from the big clubs this season, with Chelsea certainly being one of them.

Phillips says: [Locko] is admired by the Chelsea decision makers and there is a universal appeal to target him this summer.”
