It’s always nice during a boring international break to be able to enjoy a nice little interview with a Chelsea legend, and that is exactly what the Chelsea website has provided us with this morning to help kill a bit of the Chelsea void.
There are many Chelsea legends swanning around, but there will always be that top 10 that will always feature on the lips of all Blues fans, and Gianfranco Zola will certainly always be in everyone’s top 10 when speaking on legends, and arguably even in many people’s top 5 picks.

Zola was incredible, a real magician, one of a kind player who could just make things happen from nothing. What a player he was.
He’s just done an interview with the website and has said that being at Chelsea is the best thing that’s ever happened to him in football, and it’s really great to here him say this.
‘That relationship with the Chelsea fans is something that I still take with me,’ Zola said. ‘I feel very privileged to have been part of this family and, of course, it was the best thing that happened to me in football.’
The author responded, ‘Zola and Chelsea remains a true footballing love story. A match made in heaven. For many of the supporters who were privileged enough to see him in action at the Bridge, that parting comment from the Italian could easily be reversed.
