We’re not sure what path Deivid Washington thought his career would take this time a year ago – he probably wasn’t expecting to be a regular on Chelsea’s bench after moving from Brazil in the summer.
He’s clearly making an impact, just look at this footage. We know he’s been scoring in the youth teams, and the behind the scenes footage from training shows him with a brilliant flicked finish that wrong foots the goalkeeper. Someone’s got to give him a first team chance sometimes!
It looks as cold as hell out there, but Washington is cooking nonetheless.

Chelsea FC been buying young players but not playing them . What happened to Santos his more quality and skills than Gallagher but they loan him . Maatsen his proven in English League but been hardly use . If this young players been given chance the way this poch using Gallagher they will show up . Why on earth he loan him up . Washington why not given more playing time . Poch isn’t get the courage to play this kind of young players who has skills and quality . Hope they get Santos back and moreira to play them weekend week out .moreira can be cover for Lwb /LB . Maatsen can play in central midfield in left side . Badiashile should be starting now . Some players good in training comes to real game they aren’t. Palmer is good example for given chance and he show up . Bring those loan up player’s and play them . Maatsen too he deserves to play regular start alongside mudryk . Give this young players more game time regularly and start them . They can’t be polish if not use or come late . They need to start week end week out to gain experience and adopt in premier league physicality. If the coach keep using same player’s all the time the other of course they won’t progress . That’s why they have squad to fight off fatigue injuries . And coach play same player’s regularly not gonna work . Give others chance every game . And let them learn and progress their skills. Coach should read the opposition tactics to counter it not using same player’s all the time and same tactics . Waste of time against Newcastle. Now Brighton , hope they will use up and select the group of players to win this match .
