Reliable insider says new striker is arriving at Chelsea today and is eligible to play

There has been a lot of debate in recent weeks as to whether Chelsea still need to go out and sign a new striker in January or not, with many fans concerned about the current options they have.

However, it’s been confirmed by a reliable insider this week that there will actually be a new striker arriving at Cobham today!

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea owners want UCL, is Pochettino safe? Toney is on Chelsea’s list and keen on the move, Lavia’s return, Palmer a leader, ‘Most likely’ plan for Stamford Bridge revealed, and much more….

Jamaican international Dujuan Richards was signed by Chelsea in March but he’s not been eligible to play for the club yet. That has no changed, and according to The Secret Scout, he will be at Cobham from today and is now eligible to play for any team at Chelsea.

It seems likely that the 18-year-old will go with the U21s group, but I would not be surprised to see him train with Mauricio Pochettino in the first team for a bit in order to help his development and introductions to the club.
