In the last few days Angelo Gabriel, Chelsea’s Brazilian winger on loan at Strasbourg, won the club’s player of the month as well as Ligue 1’s young player of the month award.
He celebrated with a good showing against Nantes last night, showing all of his usual skill and trickery on the wing.
What’s also notable is his incredible scrappiness and desire to win the ball back high up the pitch. He’s full of fire and desire, and we hope he keeps that even as he gets older.
