There was a controversial story going around yesterday that upset many Chelsea fans.

According to Football London, defender Trevoh Chalobah has been told that he might not play for Chelsea again.

However, Fabrizio Romano has since spoken on this and he says that there has been no communication to Chalobah that he might not play for the club again.

He also says it is true though that Chelsea accepted an offer from Nottingham Forest on transfer deadline day and wanted him to leave. The expectation remains Chalobah will leave in the January transfer window.

As you will see in the vide below, Romano said: “It’s true Chelsea accepted an offer from Nottingham Forest for Trevoh Chalobah and wanted him to go. There’s been no formal communication from the club that he won’t play again for Chelsea. Sources confirm Chalobah expects to leave in January.”
