Chelsea have invested heavily in foreign talent in the last 12 months, but they’ve also paid big money for young English talent, and their reward is two starters in the England U21 team.
Both January arrival Noni Madueke and deadline day arrival Cole Palmer start for England’s side tonight against Luxembourg, and both were involved in the Three Lions’ goal.
Madueke got the “pre assist” and Palmer the assist for Liam Delap as he gave the Young Lions the lead.
With 45 minutes to play, we could yet see further action from the Chelsea oys.
