Paul Merson predicts Bournemouth v Chelsea and says Blues player will ’cause major problems’

Paul Merson has not always been the most popular pundit in football but lately I see a lot of his opinions as being very valid and I take a lot of what he says on board.

I think his views are warranted, certainly on Chelsea of late. So when he speaks, I do like to listen.

He has predicted his result for Bournemouth vs Chelsea this Sunday and he believes The Blues will go there and get a 2-0 win, which ironically is what I’ve also predicted in my own preview article for SPTC this week.

I think it will be a very tough place to go and get a result, but I do have some belief that Chelsea will do it this weekend. They simply must bounce back from the home defeat to Nottingham Forest in the last game.

Merson also picks out two Chelsea players who can shine on Sunday and believes Nicolas Jackson will cause major problems.

According to HITC, whilst predicting Chelsea to beat Bournemouth 2-0 in the Premier League this weekend, Merson noted: “Raheem Sterling has started the season strongly and despite scoring just once in the Premier League, Nicolas Jackson has shown flashes of his brilliance and could cause major problems for opposition teams once he’s finished adapting to his new surroundings.”
