New Chelsea signing was close to joining AC Milan over Stamford Bridge move

It’s been revealed this morning that one of Chelsea’s many new signings this summer was actually close to joining AC Milan, and also had interest from other clubs.

It’s no surprise really because already we have seen the clear quality that this player has.

Nicolas Jackson just needs to add more goals to his game and he could really become a world beater in the Premier League for Chelsea, but he might not have even been at Chelsea at all at one point this summer.

His agent has admitted that due to Jackson’s top performances last season, there were more teams coming in for him than just Chelsea in the summer, AC Milan being one of them.

But Chelsea ‘arrived’ into the equation and they decided to go to the Stamford Bridge club instead of any other offers they had.

In words cited by The Chelsea Chronicle this morning, Jackson’s agent, Diomansy Kamara said:  “[Jackson] did well, many offers arrived. We were close to signing with Milan, then Chelsea arrived and we went there.”
