(Video): Romano claims Chelsea have “very good” relationship with Brighton

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has actually claimed Chelsea have a very good relationship with Brighton despite the Moises Caicedo saga this summer.

We all know what has happened here, Chelsea have been finding it near impossible so far to agree a deal with Brighton to sign the midfielder. However, despite all of this, they still enjoy good relations with The Seagulls.

Sources: Transfer latest on Moises Caicedo, Axel Disasi, Lesley Ugochukwu, Mohammed Kudus, Michael Olise, Rayan Cherki, Kylian Mbappe, Robert Sanchez, Marc Guehi, Trevoh Chalobah, and Callum Hudson-Odoi!

Romano has been speaking about Chelsea’s attempts to sign Caicedo, and now goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from Brighton, in his latest YouTube video as seen below.

He says that the rejected bids are all part of the game and part of negotiations, and it’s not done anything to tar relations between the two clubs.

Romano said: “Chelsea have sent an official bid for Robert Sanchez. They always had his name on the list as a cheaper option. At the moment Chelsea prefer to keep things quiet on the amount because of the relationship with Brighton. The relationship is still very good despite them turning down bids for Caicedo. Deal on for Sanchez, who wants to go to Chelsea.”
