Rob Dorsett on Sky has just named Chelsea as one of the teams “interested” in signing Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The England star is already one of the best players in the world, and is about to enter his prime. The competition is fierce, with both Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Real Madrid also in the race.

Sadly for Chelsea fans, being “interested” in signing him is quite different to having any chance of signing him.
Most importantly, Bellingham is just not going to want to move to a club outside the Champions League – and that is precisely where Chelsea are going to be next season.
Then there’s the finances – after a record breaking spend in the last 12 months, Chelsea are looking to sell rather than buy, and Bellingham is sure to be vastly expensive both in terms of a transfer fee and wage.
It looks like we’re going to just have to sit and watch while he goes to Man City.
