Sourced report claims Chelsea are in for another Brighton player

Chelsea are reportedly keen on signing another Brighton player, after recently signing Marc Cucurella and being linked with a number of others.

Chelsea also of course, took Brighton’s manager this season with Graham Potter replacing Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge. Then they were heavily linked with being one of the clubs keen on signing midfielder Moises Caicedo in the January transfer window, noise that has since died down a little.

Sources: The Chelsea striker back story involving Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, and Romelu Lukaku!

But now, according to Football Insider, Chelsea want Brighton’s 25-year-old shot stopper Robert Sanchez, who has actually ironically been dropped in a few recent games for Brighton.

The sourced report claims that Chelsea want to sign a new first-choice goalkeeper in the off-season despite the generally fine form of Kepa Arrizabalaga this term.

Potter apparently enjoyed a good relationship with Sanchez during their time together at the Amex Stadium, and current Seagulls boss Roberto de Zerbi has chosen to promote 32-year-old Jason Steele into the number one role over Sanchez.
