Chelsea player told he can now leave the club as part of revamp

Chelsea’s big squad revamp continues, and that means there are question marks over a number of different players moving forward.

The summer brings the next transfer window, and it is also the longer transfer window, meaning Chelsea will have plenty of time to buy and sell more players, which they are very much expected to do.

Despite being super busy and spending a lot of money in the last two windows, the new Blues owners are set to continue moving forward. But to balance the books out, they will be looking to sell many players as well.

And according to The Daily Mirror, goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has been told by the club that he can leave as part of this revamp.

The 30-year-old is in the last 18 months of his contract and there has been no sign of any talks for an extension. It looks like he is destined to be off this summer.
