In perhaps the least shocking story of the week, Chelsea’s Reece James is expected to stay at the club despite links to a move away.
Obviously James has recently signed a new long-term contract at Chelsea, so really, these links are dead in the water before they even begin. But the links still arrive anyway, and it is Real Madrid who apparently want to sign James this summer.

James is massively important to Chelsea even though he continues to suffer with regular injury setbacks. But the club will clearly not be willing to entertain offers for a player they have just negotiated a lucrative new contract for.
James is a Chelsea boy and the fans love him, he is clearly loving his time at Chelsea right now and sees his long term future there.
