On ESPN today they’re been looking at Chelsea’s wild January spending spree and trying to figure out whether we can win the Champions League this season.
They then spun the question into a more interesting version – are the Blues more likely to win the Champions League than they are to finish in the top 4?
Every one of the pundits agreed that they were, given how far behind we are in the league and the lack of consistency we’ve shown. Meanwhile in a cup competition “it’s anybody’s game” philosophised Stevie Nicol.

ESPN football pundits never fail to further prove how stupid and off the mark they are. Guys, please sit down somewhere quiet and ease the pressure off your little heads. As a chelsea supporter it’s safe to say that XlChelsea will not win the CL or finish above 4th in the league. ESPN need to find real experienced “experts”.
