Chelsea have announced the signing we’ve all been expecting since yesterday.
The top insiders were all reporting yesterday that Noni Madueke would be coming to Chelsea, and now the club have confirmed it on their official website.
Like all our other signings this season, he’s on a long deal – in this case seven and a half years, with an option to extend that for a year.
“I’m really pleased to sign with one of the best clubs in the world in Chelsea,’ Madueke said in quotes on the official site.
“To return to England and play in the Premier League is a dream for me and my family and I can’t wait to get started. I am excited for what the future holds, the owner’s vision for the future and to be at a club like this and winning at the highest level.”

Along with fellow new signing Mykhailo Mudryk, Madueke represents a fresh and exciting attacking pair to add to our struggling team. We don’t know quite how all these players will fit in, but we can’t wait to find out.
An England youth international through several age groups already, he’s got a brilliant future, and it’s going to take place at Stamford Bridge.
