Chelsea have decided that poaching from the Red Bull clubs is a smart idea, and they’ve just appointed RB Leipzig man Christopher Vivell as their new technical director.
But the Blues aren’t the first to have that bright idea. Leeds took the RB Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch last season, and after working with Vivell in Austria for some time, he was well placed to answer questions about him. He noted one part of Vivell’s skillset as his “greatest asset” and his “bread and butter.”
You can see the Leeds coach speaking in the clip embedded here:
🗣️ “I think his greatest asset is his recruitment ability. That’s his bread and butter.”
