As first reported on Si & Dan Talk Chelsea earlier this week, Liverpool are interested in signing one of Chelsea’s key players, with a potential situation bubbling up.
As we have been hearing about lately, Chelsea have a number of contractual situations that they are looking to address now.

One of which is England international Mason Mount, who’s been in discussions with the club over an extension since the summer, yet with no conclusions being reached yet. His current deal runs out in 2024, and he has started to get interest from other clubs who are monitoring the situation carefully.

As we say in our report, we still expect Mount to sign with Chelsea, and any move to Liverpool at the moment seems unlikely.
