Chelsea midfielder’s future unclear as Everton show an interest

Everton are monitoring a current situation at Chelsea that could see another midfielder depart the club.

As we know, the situations surrounding N’Golo Kante and Jorginho are not clear yet, but these situations are not looking good as of now.

Sources: 5 goalkeepers on Chelsea’s shortlist to potentially replace Edouard Mendy!

But Chelsea also have two other regular midfielders with contracts running out in 2024, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and it is the latter who is the subject of this article.

Si & Dan Talk Chelsea report that both the club and the player are unsure at the moment about the future, and Loftus-Cheek himself is not entirely keen about having to play as a wingback a lot of the time.

The report also states that Frank Lampard’s Everton are interested in signing Loftus-Cheek in January or the summer, and he is also attracting interest from Italian sides in Serie A.

A decision will have to be made soon if Chelsea want to sell him, as that would need to be this January or the summer.

  1. Graham Potter should allow Jorginho n Ruben Loftus Cheek to go by the end of the season we need quality replacement, Decline Rice for Jorginho n Ruben Neves can also replace Ruben Loftus Cheek. I think when Ngolo Kante recover n he’s fully fit they should renew his contract n allow him to stay becos of his quality.
