Complaining about a busy fixture list is a staple of every manager’s press conference cycle, especially when things are going badly.
But Graham Potter is newly installed at Chelsea and hasn’t had the chance to play a Premier League match yet, let alone complain about a busy fixture list.
So it was no surprise to see him react positively to questions about the 9 games in a month he’s about to come up against.
“Bring it on!” he said in today’s press conference, with a twinkle in his eye.
We just wonder how long this attitude will last.
