Crystal Palace vs Chelsea – Team News

Chelsea face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in just under an hour, and the teams are in!

It’s Graham Potter’s first Premier League game in charge of Chelsea, and there’s been a huge amount of interest in his selection. It looks to us like a 433.

In goal, Edouard Mendy’s injury means Kepa gets a second start in a row.

Ben Chilwell starts at left back, with Reece James on the right and a Thiago Silva – Wesley Fofana in the middle of defence.

N’Golo Kante isn’t fit enough to start, so it’s a Jovacic midfield, with Kai Havertz, Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling supporting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang up front.

It’s an interesting formation shift which favours some of the squad but means we’re going to have a lot of central defenders on the bench this season.

Here are the full team line-ups for Crystal Palace vs Chelsea (kick off at 15:00 pm GMT)
