Reece James was cornered after England’s 3-3 draw with Germany tonight and gave some interesting answers about what he had made of the game and England’s World Cup chances.
He singled out Mason Mount for praise, and it was also put to him that the fact that the World Cup was in just 6 weeks – and came in the middle of the season – would benefit Premier League players more than the usual ones.
James is one player who is likely to benefit, with Trent Alexander Arnold out of form, with no games left with England to win his place back.
