The future of Kepa Arrizabalaga has been in doubt for some time now as it seems impossible for him to continue at the club as purely the number two backup option to Edouard Mendy. But even Mendy himself has some question marks over his long-term future at the club, with him turning down a recent new contract offer from Chelsea.

The Blues will soon be throwing a new goalkeeper in to the mix as well, Chicago Fire’s Gabriel Slonina. Chelsea signed the young rising star this summer and loaned him back to his club to finish the season there, a season that is soon ending.
