The sacking of Morocco manager Vahid Halilhodžić has meant an immediate return to international duty for Hakim Ziyech, who shone in a friendly against Chile last night.
The question is whether new Chelsea coach Graham Potter can get him performing like that at club level.
There’s no doubting his technical talent and his touch of magic, the problem is that we’ve yet to see him really able to show it for a full 90 minutes at a time, let alone over the course of a few months or a whole season.
Potter will do everything to get the best out of him – the rest is up to Ziyech.
