Jude Bellingham is going to become THE next biggest transfer saga and THE next biggest player after the Erling Haaland saga of the last few years.
All the big clubs wanted Haaland, and he has since been proving why. Now, in the next few transfer windows, all the big clubs are going to be pushing to sign Bellingham from Dortmund.
Chelsea will be one of many names, according to Ben Jacobs today. But they will have a real battle on their hands. Real Madrid are reportedly confident of signing Bellingham next summer, but they will have a stern reserve from Dortmund who are obviously trying to keep the player.
Chelsea have a trick up their sleeve too though according to Jacobs. He says that Chelsea are keeping tabs on Bellingham and would be prepared to structure a deal in very preferable manner for Dortmund.
Bellingham himself, is yet to decide. Full thread here:
Real are confident in signing Jude Bellingham next summer, although Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl is still intent on offering a new deal after the World Cup. Bellingham's contract expires in 2025. Real believe they can sign him for under £100m without an extension.
