Chelsea, as always, have a number of their talents currently out on loan moves this season to get game time.
These decisions have been vital for their development and for players to just be playing. One move that has already shown early signs of success is Callum Hudson-Odoi’s move to Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
He is already getting some good minutes and looks to be trusted there. He needed to go and play regularly, because he wasn’t really getting that under Thomas Tuchel.
However, as we know, Chelsea now have a new manager in Graham Potter, and every player has been given a fresh clean slate to impress, including Hudson-Odoi.
In fact, as relayed below, Sport Bild in Germany are even reporting that Potter is considering recalling Hudson-Odoi early from his loan spell. They say that Potter had an interest in signing Hudson-Odoi for Brighton. Under the terms of the loan deal, he can be recalled by Chelsea in January.
