This weekend saw some really surprising links between Chelsea and Everton’s Anthony Gordon, a transfer that would be hard to explain given he doesn’t look that much better than the options we already have.
But do the numbers back up those assumptions? On Sky Sports they compared the winger’s stats from last season with Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi to try and understand where the Blues’ interest is coming from.
