‘New round of talks’ – Chelsea stepping up to sign new striker

Chelsea have scheduled a new round of talks this week in order to try and bring Thomas Tuchel a new striker before the transfer window slams shut in a couple of weeks time.

The summer window will soon be over, and Chelsea will be expecting to add at least one or two more new signings depending on departures. There’s plenty of work to be done but the days are running out.

Sources: Seven of the clubs interested in signing Callum Hudson-Odoi named, with one being Arsenal!

This week, one of the players they are trying to sign is Barcelona forward Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, and the new talks will take place, according to Fabrizio Romano.

He says the talks will be with Aubameyang’s camp this week. Todd Boehly wants to understand the conditions of the deal and for personal terms, and after that, they will submit the offer to Barcelona, who are pushing for around £25m for the former Arsenal front man.

It appears to be another strong Thomas Tuchel pick.
