Chelsea set to offer Thomas Tuchel contract extension according to exclusive

So not only are Chelsea working on signing players and extending contracts of key first team players right now, the new owners are also set to sit down with manager Thomas Tuchel and offer him a contract extension as well.

At least that is according to an exclusive report written by Andy Dillon of The Sun over night.

Sources: Chelsea keen on Manchester United midfielder after season of scouting missions!

Dillon claims that Chelsea have started contract talks with a view of giving Thomas Tuchel two more years on top of what he already has left, which will double his contract length at the club.

Chelsea’s new owners have reportedly been hugely impressed with Tuchel’s qualities and leadership, and the new board hope to convince him to tie his future down until 2026.

Many believe Tuchel deserves this purely for sticking around through all the recent turmoil and changes just a few months back, and I tend to agree! He’s certainly earned it in that sense and proved to be a massive asset for the club.
