Thomas Tuchel looked pretty defeated after yesterday’s humiliation against Arsenal in Florida, and when asked about his team’s attacking performance there wasn’t much he could do apart from put up the same arguments he did last season.
“It’s the same players” he moaned, after attackers like Timo Werner had produced another disasterclass.
It was a clear message to those upstairs that nothing will change in the attacking game until more signings are made in attack. Clearly Raheem Sterling wasn’t the only missing piece.
