Chelsea are now down to the final details to secure a their first summer signing, and it’s been a little while coming.
The Blues are now very close to signing Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling, and there are just the final bits of paperwork to tie up now.

According to The Independent today, Chelsea are set to sign Sterling in time for him to go on the American tour, with the rest of the squad setting off this Saturday.
The report states that Sterling is is comfortable with the terms offered and he is excited about a move back to London with the club. The fee will be £45m with £10m add-ons.
It will be Chelsea’s first signing under the new owners, and it will be a fairly decent statement. But Chelsea fans know that we need more, and we need them to start coming in fast now as the new season approaches in less than four weeks time!
Good news with the sterling deal. Next through the the doors should be De ligt, Ousmane Dembele/ Chiesa/ Saint Maximin, Borna Sosa, Spence, Frankie De jong, Matheus nunez, Mendez/Savic, Badiashile and Memphis Depay.
