“I wouldn’t take him back” – Former Inter Milan forward slams Romelu Lukaku

Ah, the Romelu Lukaku saga, here we are again, more words on that.

The drama is set to be the biggest of the transfer window, with the Belgian international looking to jump ship at Chelsea and return to his beloved Inter Milan, who he willingly left last summer.

Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta set to join Barcelona?

But now, when things haven’t gone his way, he wants to give up on what he called his ‘dream’ to return to Chelsea after just one season after moaning about systems and style of play at the club.

Chelsea fans are furious with him, and rightly so. And so is former Inter Milan forward Antonio Cassano, who says he would not be taking Lukaku back at the club and fears about how the fans will react to a player who left them all just one-year ago.

“I wouldn’t take him back,” Cassano told his Bobo TV stream, as reported by The Evening Standard.

“He said he was going to his dream team, earning 15 million euros. Now, however, in London he doesn’t kick a ball and would like to return to Italy.

“Inter’s problem, given that Dybala is coming, is that if they get Lukaku they have to sell Lautaro. Again, I would not sign Lukaku.

“Also because first of all you have to pay for him, but then you have to see the reaction of the fans: if he scores two goals per game, okay, but otherwise the situation becomes quite difficult.

“Lukaku has to think about it. At this point, I say he stays at Chelsea.”

He has been pining for a return since he did that stupid interview with Sky Italy. Just get rid.
