The Chelsea players and staff and their families did a customary lap of mutual appreciation around Stamford Bridge at full time today, and there was a notably nice moment when Thomas Tuchel did a tour of the pitch with his daughters.
The Bride roared his “super Tommy Tuchel” song out loud, making sure the coach knew how well appreciated he was by them after a brilliant 18 months in charge of the club. The manager doffed his cap.
Let’s hope the club back him this summer, and we can keep singing this song for years to come.
