We all know that Todd Boehly’s consortium are soon to become the new owners of Chelsea Football Club.
However, as it stands in an official capacity, it is Roman Abramovich who is still the official owner of the club and technically the club are still sanctioned. This is why we need the sale to be officially approved by the Premier League and the UK Government, because until then, no transfers can be completed at the club, only talks.
Whilst other clubs like Manchester City are confirmed Elring Haaland, Chelsea are going to be forced to play catchup.
However, the takeover could officially be confirmed this week or early next week according to Goal, who report that we are ahead of schedule and the sale should be waived through very soon.
PL could waive through Todd Boehly's deal for Chelsea late this or early next week. It's ahead of schedule for an acquisition with due diligence started before they were even in exclusive talks: https://t.co/3DX62XiqIH #CFC

This is great news for the club, who will already be speaking and working on targets for this summer.
