Thomas Tuchel has just given his post match interview after the defeat to Real Madrid, and he’s mildly accused the referee of being slightly against his team over the two legs.
“I felt the referee was 51% for them… That’s how it is when you play against Real Madrid in this competition” he said pointedly, but you can forgive him a little bitterness after a game of such fine margins.
He’s not accusing anyone of major corruption, just saying it was a sliver in favour of the home side today.
