Of all the things that are going on right now at Chelsea Football Club, you wouldn’t really be expecting to hear much about transfer news right now, especially potential arrivals.
The bottom line really is that nobody knows just how the club will operate now going forward in the midst of new ownership after Roman Abramovich announced he has put the club up for sale.

So it’s safe to say that transfer targets are certainly not going to be high up the list of conversations in the boardroom right now.
Even still, a player who they reportedly showed interest in recently and still are is Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez, according to Footmercato.
Their reporter tweeted out the news earlier today [below] and he confirms that as well as PSG, Chelsea are also interested in signing Mahrez. As he rightly also points out though, the sale of the club could change that.
